Reduce Your Stress with Therapy Dog Activities
The PAWS Your Stress program is offered by a caring team of students, researchers, professionals, and most important, volunteer therapy dogs and handlers!
The program was founded in 2013 by the Office of the Centennial Enhancement Chair in One Health & Wellness at the USask. It is offered today in partnership with Peer Health, the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog program, and the PAWSitive Connections Lab.
The therapy dogs in the PAWS Your Stress program are very active visiting Saskatoon.
Our Therapy Dogs have been safely visiting vaccination clinics in Saskatoon to offer comfort and support to the people attending, as well as friendly visits with staff, since 2020.
St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs will be resuming visits at future Saskatoon vaccination clinics. Visit the SK Health Authority website for details.
