PAWS Your Stress was founded in 2015 by the Office of the Centennial Enhancement Chair in One Health and Wellness, led by Dr. Colleen Dell.
Today the program is offered with campus Peer Health by a caring and compassionate team of students, researchers, professionals, and most important, volunteer therapy dogs and handlers!

In March 2020, the University of Saskatchewan implemented a working remotely policy because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our therapy dog program responded within a few short weeks by moving online.
Our online program goals are to:
(1) virtually extend the sense of connection to the university by enabling students, and all people of Saskatchewan and elsewhere, to visit with the dogs online to gain comfort and support,
(2) share evidence-informed information about pandemic-specific mental health self-care tips from the perspective of the therapy dogs.
You can visit our therapy dogs in both live and recorded video events!
Meet the PAWSYourStress therapy dogs working hard each day to bring you online visits at Therapydogs.ca.
